Logoscript > Company > News News LCJ Secures New Multi-Million-Euro Contract With Microsoft Software giant impressed by LCJ’s knowledge of Microsoft products and ‘best-of-breed’ language-handling capabilities DORTMUND, Germany, October 15, 2002 – LCJ EEIG, Europe's leading localization group, signed a strategic, double-digit million-Euro contract with Microsoft to perform multiple localization projects over the next three years as a Microsoft Premier Localization Vendor. The worldwide leader in software, services and Internet technologies elevated LCJ to Premier Vendor status after years of successful collaboration on numerous projects. Microsoft's Vendor Program seeks to enable the vendor to maximize its return on expenditure by working with a select number of scalable, reliable and high-performance vendors.
Almost every major Business Unit at Microsoft, including Developer International, PBSG (Office and Business Tools), Windows, Enterprise Server Group as well as CDDG (Content Development and Delivery Group) will work with LCJ to adapt new Microsoft products and services to local markets. Over the years, LCJ has handled numerous important localization projects for Microsoft.
