Localization Engineering

The technical nature of most tasks involved in the localization process requires the intervention of localization engineers, who understand the various components which make up an application. During our localization projects, Logoscript's engineering group provides technical support to Project Managers such as selecting the most suitable tools for the project, file preparation and testing of the localized solution.

In the software industry, applications are continuously updated and new versions are released. Consequently, the user interface, online help, and documentation must be modified to reflect these changes. To include these updates in the localized product as efficiently as possible, our localization engineers prepare the files for translation using translation memory tools. These tools allow us to take advantage of previously translated texts and reduce the cost to our customers.
